A CLASSICAL TILE : A slightly cambered tile, which is installed in line or broken bonded, depending on the pitch of the roof. A classic : The format and classic shape of this tile and its rustic tones make it ideal for recreating traditional roofs. Its use for over half a century in mountainous regions with a severe climate, has gained it an outstanding reputation which has now spread to Burgundy, Franche-Comte and the Alps. Installation gets easier and easier : The STANDARD 14 VARIO is a slightly cambered tile, produced at Commenailles in the Jura. It can be installed either broken bonded or in line, if there is sufficient pitch. Recommended for harsh climates : The quality of its finish and of the clays which make it, give it exceptional resistance to even the harshest of climates. Authentic : The Arboise Scallop Jacob, taken individually, does not look like its predecessors. However, once installed, the overall look of the roof is identical to that of a traditional roof of plain ecaille (fish scale) tiles. Indeed, that is the intended look: a tile that is technically advanced but true to its roots. The same search for authenticity has been brought to the choice of colours, which will bring a harmonious match with the traditional style of the region.
